GSM PROGRAMMABLE DISPLAY
The SDU/INFO 1000 Sign is typically installed in conjunction with SAFER ROUTE TO SCHOOL and CAMERA PARTNERSHIP initatives.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The Inter-active sign will display a real-time illustration of the approaching speed of an oncoming vehicle when exceeding a pre-set threshold limit.
In addition to showing the vehicle speed the sign is able to display up to 4 2x12 character lines of text that can be remotely edited via computer or mobile phone, to display a safety, warning or information message suitable for the location and circumstances.
To eliminate the possibility of drivers attempting to have a high speed displayed, an upper threshold limit can be set. This allows a safety message to display, without the real-time speed being displayed.
SITING & OPERATION
The sign must be sited, such that the approaching vehicle, can be detected and the sign observed, allowing the driver time to take appropriate action.
MOUNTING
Normally a 89mm O.D. large base post is adequate, with a 230v 50Hz, supply to the base of the post.
CONSTRUCTION
All aluminium body, with a clear polycarbonate Anti-vandal face. The rear of the sign has two channel rails.
DIMENSIONS
Sign width 1120mm

ELECTRONICS

From there the information can be displayed in any chart formation, giving that professional finish to your evaluated statistics.
