TRI-COLOUR LED SPEED INDICATOR DEVICE (SID)
SID VEHICLE ACTIVATED SPEED DISPLAY SIGN TSRGD [ EN12966-2014]
The TWM Tri-Colour LED Speed Indication Device is certified to EN12966-2014 with optional SLOW DOWN/THANK YOU or Sad/Smiley face safety messages. Designed by our team of experts and developed to effectively reduce average speeds on transport networks, this sign is also known as a Red/Amber/Green flasher.
Utilising modern manufacturing methods and our proven radar technology, this interactive sign from TWM will display the real-time speed of oncoming vehicles in three colours we all recognise on the roads. Per the speed drivers are travelling and depending on the model chosen, the optional accompanying safety displays will also be shown. The speed indication device (SID) can also be optimised for data collection, environmental sensors, speed cameras and powered by either battery, solar or wind.
What you will see:
If the approaching vehicle is detected above the adjustable speed limit threshold, the sign will display the real-time speed in red LEDs and the safety message SLOW DOWN/sad face.*
If the approaching vehicle is detected at 1MPH +/- of the adjustable speed limit threshold, the sign will display the real-time speed in orange LEDs and the safety message THANK YOU/happy face.*
If the approaching vehicle is detected below the adjustable speed limit threshold, the sign will display the real-time speed in green LEDs and the safety message THANK YOU/happy face*.
This sign is ideal for parish and village applications, with it currently being used by a high volume of our customers with examples throughout Bolton.
